The Creative Origin of Olga Cave

I was born in New York City and raised in Kansas City, Missouri; Kansas City, Kansas; Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Pennsylvania. When I returned to Queens, New York, as an adolescent, I discovered my love for art through my dear Aunt Patricia—whom we all affectionately called “Sister.” As I grew older, that love expanded into photography. My maternal grandmother was a big influence in my creative journey—she loved taking pictures and also expressed herself through sewing and crochet. Watching her inspired me to explore both photography and sewing, and I’ve always felt that my creative talents were, in many ways, inherited. I’m a self-taught artist, and my curiosity has led me to experiment with a variety of creative outlets, including purse-making, handmade floral arrangements, fabric accessories, and, most recently, surface pattern design. In 2015, I launched O’s Clothes LLC, a brand centered on handmade accessories and original designs. Today, I’ve expanded my work into print-on-demand products, offering t-shirts, hoodies, art prints, and more under Aglo Designs—simply my name spelled backwards. Creating has always been a joy for me, and I hope you enjoy my work as much as I’ve enjoyed bringing it to life.
